On the eve of Mother's Day, one of the most remarkable and important holidays in the year, the ROMART Group of Companies, together with the Russian branch of the Finnish producer of quality food products, Valio LLC, organized a charity event in the State Enterprise Crisis Center for Women and Children and its branches : Specialized children's home "Little Mama" and "Hope".

Mother's Day is a national holiday celebrated on the last Sunday of November. On this day, congratulations are taken by all the fair sex representatives bearing the honorary title "Mom". Particularly in need of attention are women who have found themselves in a difficult life situation - minors, victims of domestic violence, mothers of children with disabilities and women with disabilities.

During the concert, organized by a friendly team led by Natalia Borisovna Zavyalova, the director of the Center, the ROMART Company and Valio LLC presented women with a set of useful and tasty dairy products.

It's nice to note how grateful the audience was to the action - we met with a lively response from mothers with such different, often difficult, destinies. We dare to hope that the organizers of the campaign have been able to warm their hearts with warmth and bring tangible benefits.

Within the framework of the event, new up-to-date information was presented on the results of the pharmaceutical industry during the difficult period of 2017: the dynamics of the market development and the main trends of the pharmaceutical industry, the existing competition and forecasts for the coming year.

Oleg Petrovich Feldman, Acting Chairman of the Organizing Committee, spoke about the main organizational aspects of the contest: the timing, stages and procedure for the Platinum Ounce of this year. Some changes were announced in the contest nominations:
• Medicine of the Year nomination: no sub-nominations Generic Medicine and Original preparation; the number of sub-nominations was reduced to two - Prescription Medicine and OTC Medicine;
• Vector of the Year nomination: in the Digital Project sub-nomination, projects are eligible if launched not earlier than July 1, 2016 or completed in 2017.

WANEXPO is the main national event in the field of motherhood and childhood, an annual interactive exhibition in the Sokolniki Culture and Entertainment Center, loved by thousands of expectant mothers and young parents with little children. This autumn the festival was held from 9 to 12 November inclusive and the ROMART Group of Companies took full participation in it, once again becoming an information partner and a traditional exponent of WANEXPO.

The company was represented by the POSOBIE.INFO website and socio-educational programs "University of Motherhood" and "Competent Parents".

Visitors of the stand, brightly decorated with balloons from the Sharikus company , were young and future parents, not firsthand familiar with the site POSOBIE.INFO and printed publications of the ROMART Group. Company's employees gladly presented the publications to guests who first heard about our projects, helped them register on the site and presented useful gifts in honor of a memorable acquaintance.

Throughout the four days of the festival, the administration of POSOBIE.INFO and the University of Motherhood communicated with visitors of the exhibition inviting to take part in the prize draw and win useful gifts from ROMART Group and our friends.

The World Breastfeeding Week has traditionally been held from 1 to 7 August in more than 170 countries, including Russia. Annually, this week is marked by a number of events - charity events and events held in commemoration of the Innocenti Declaration of WHO and UNICEF, adopted in August 1990 to support natural feeding.

One of these actions took place in the framework of the socio-educational program "University of Motherhood" in the maternity hospitals of Moscow:

· Yudin State Clinical Hospital (4 Kolomenskiy pr.);
· 8th Childbearing Center of the 68th State Clinical Hospital (3 Samarkandskiy bulvar);
· 1st Childbearing Center of the 13th State Clinical Hospital (3 Sharikopodshipnikovskaya);

Throughout the week, the administration of maternity hospitals together with representatives of the GC "ROMART" congratulated women on the significant event – beginning of their motherhood.

Young mothers were told about the benefits of breastfeeding and presented pleasant and useful gift sets kindly provided by brands and our kind friends: NappyClub, Pigeon, Happy Baby, Fleur Alpine, LOVULAR, Tiny Love, Humana, AQA Baby, Sanosan, Bibikol, Medela.

The organizers of the action noted that new mothers are aware of the importance of breast milk for the health of the child and the need to preserve breastfeeding even after the introduction of complementary foods.
