April 18, 2019, the ceremony of awarding the winners of the XIXth All-Russian Open Competition of Pharmaceutical Industry Professionals Platinum Ounce took place. The solemn event traditionally brought together the entire color of the pharmaceutical market - more than 300 top managers of companies, representatives of science and government.

The ceremony was opened by the Director of the Organizing Committee of the Platinum Oz and the Chief Executive Officer of the Healthcare Industry of Sberbank, Yury Krestinsky. The main change in the structure of the competition was the expansion of the nomination Company of the Year, he said. In addition to the existing subnominations - Drug Manufacturer and Drug Distributor - this included the Pharmacy Chain of the Year.

The winner of the Drug Manufacturer sub-nomination was Bayer for the second time in a row, and Novartis, Sanofi and Farmstandart were again among the nominees; the only change was the presence of the company Takeda.

There was no change of leader among distributors - for the third year the main prize goes to Protek. For the second year in a row, Neopharm was recognized as the best pharmacy chain, and the acquisition of the Samson Farma pharmacy chain by the Erkafarm Group of Companies was the Deal of the Year.

The subdivision Project of the Year in the nomination Vector of the Year has undergone changes: the nomination Advertising / Marketing Campaign has been eliminated. In this sub-nomination there are three nominations: Business Project, Social Project and Digital Project.

In addition, in 2018 a new nomination Communication of the Year was introduced into the competition, which includes a sub-nomination Creative of the Year.

NIKAMED was awarded a special nomination for the Contribution to the Creation and Development of the Orthopedic Industry of the Russian Federation.

For the Development and Implementation of Innovative Nutraceutical preparations, a special nomination was received by the Bioteh group of companies, a product line under the Renessans brand.

Bosnalijek received a special nomination by the Organizing Committee for the New Communication Format in Pharmaceuticals for creating the multimedia navigation search service for Enterofuril.
