History of International Children's Day started on the International Conference in 1924, where the main issue for discussion was the health and welfare of children. Later, in 1949, the Congress of Women was held in Paris, where they pronounced the oath of endless struggle for peace as the only guarantee of happiness for children. And on June, 1^st in 1950 the International Children's Day was celebrated for the first time.

Happy childhood begins first at birth, at first sight and with the first mother’s touch. That is why on June, 1^st in 2011 the publishing group "ROMART" held a traditional charity event, dedicated to International Children's Day and aimed to remind that our children need love and care. The event was held in Moscow maternity homes (Clinic of Obstetrics and Gynecology named after Snegiryov of First MSMU of Sechenov, hospital №20, and the hospital at City Clinical Hospital №15).
