For many years the world celebrates the Mother's Day – the holiday of all mothers and those who are just preparing to become a mother. In our country, this day is celebrated on the last Sunday of November and aims to draw the social attention to selfless mother's work for the sake of her child, as well as to support the traditional respect to women, to strengthen the family foundations and highlight the importance of the major person in our life - Mother!
Russia established the Mother's Day in 1998. The initiative belongs to the State Duma committee of Women, Family and Youth affairs.
Motherhood is a priceless gift, great joy and great responsibility. Raising and upbringing a decent man and a citizen is a great work that deserves huge respect and gratitude.
The organizers of the socio-educational program "University of motherhood" - First Moscow State Medical University named after Sechenov of Russian Ministry of Health, Moscow Health care Department, the All-Russian Public Movement "Mothers of Russia", the Women's Union of Russia, the publishing group "ROMART" and State Budget Organization "Support centers for women in crisis situations" heartily congratulated young mothers on the occasion!
