On November 27, the Crisis Center for Women held the 2nd annual scientific conference "Woman in the city: a cross-cultural look."
The conference was attended by representatives of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of Moscow, scholars and educators of leading universities of Russia, young scientists, managers and practitioners of social protection institutions, public figures and representatives of public organizations.
Natalia Zavyalova, Director of the GBU "Crisis Center for women and children", and Tatyana Barsukova, Deputy Head of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of Moscow, greeted the participants of the conference. Speakers touched on important aspects of the life of a woman related to employment, family, interpersonal relationships, human society, and other crisis situations. The main idea was necessity of strengthening the institution of the family, as well as the prevention of cruelty to women and children.

Thus, the socio-educational program "University of motherhood" is a prime example of successful consolidation of government and business in the social sphere. Yulia Prokhorova , Head of the ROMART Media, reported on the implementation of the program in the Moscow region and other regions of Russia.
