From 4th to 6th of March in Moscow the All-Russian Conference of the Movement "Mothers of Russia" was held.
It was attended by representatives of 57 regional movements of Russia, activists, members of public organizations, as well as prominent figures of culture and art. Among them are Honored Artist of Russia Olga G. Zhemchuzhnaya, Merited Actress of the RSFSR Zinaida M. Kirienko, CEO and Artistic head of radio "Orpheus" I. Gerasimov, Honored teacher of Russia R. Anisimova, Deputy Director of the Russian Association "Population and Development" B. Lordkipanidze, Merited Musician of Russia Iliya Reznik.
The Presidium of the Movement "Mothers Russia" were presented by heads of educational institutions, scientific and cultural figures, among which - Honored Artist of the RSFSR, Academician Irina Antonova and popular TV host, Soviet and Russian speaker, Honored Artist of the RSFSR Anna N. Schatilova.
The conference was devoted to implementation of state policy in the field of the family, motherhood and childhood. Particular attention was paid to the groups’ formation for working with children under three years in the private sector, to the issue of employment of mothers and problems of large families.
One of the key issues was the discussion of the traditional family based on mutual love and respect of spouses.
Publishing Group ROMART introduced their printed publications of socio-educational program "University of Motherhood" to all participants.
At the conference the Chairman of the All-Russian Public Movement "Mothers of Russia" Valentina Petrenko highly appraised the socio-educational program "University of Motherhood" and appealed all regional representatives of the Movement to support and assist in strengthening the implementation of this social initiative.
