The World Breastfeeding Week is carried out on August 1-7 in hundreds of countries around the world. Events and activities supporting natural nutrition and health of children, take place in our country every year, too.
During this week, the organizers of the socio-educational program "University of motherhood" – I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University of the Russian Federation Ministry of Health, Moscow City Health Department and ROMART publishing group – had visited maternity hospitals of Moscow and congratulated young mothers on the birth of their children.
The action took place in:
- Childbearing center of the 15th State Clinical Hospital (23 Veshnyakovskaya ul.)
- S.S. Yudin State Clinical Hospital (4 Kolomenskiy pr.)
- Perinatal Center of the 24th State Clinical Hospital (39, 4th Vyatskiy pereulok)
It's nice that new moms recognize necessity of feeding babies with breast and importance of continued breastfeeding combined with complementary feeding.
