The «University of motherhood» and «Posobie.info» stand for family values support.

On August 11^th-13^th the 5^th International Festival of social technologies in family values defense called "For Life - 2014" took place in Moscow.

It is the largest annual international festival of Russian-speaking social movement standing for life defense, which possess the great public importance and profound moral content. The purpose is to attract wide public attention to the need of implementation of social and cultural policies focusing on family institution support, overcoming the demographic crisis by increasing the number of large families, supporting pregnant women, protection of children's lives from the impregnation moment, promotion of traditional family values. All this unites tens of thousands members and followers of the movement across the country.

The event gathered medical experts and representatives of public organizations, state and municipal authorities, universities and expert communities of Russia, CIS and foreign countries, the largest charity foundations.

The festival highlighted the socio-educational program "University of motherhood" the objectives of which are public awareness on the issues of pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, breastfeeding, parenting, maternity and child care, family institution defense, general disease prevention and health care.

Projects presented at the festival widely spread in the joint social work of the State and the Russian Orthodox Church, public and scientific organizations, charity foundations.

Guests and participants of the festival were welcomed by Metropolite Vladimir of Omsk and Tauride, besides, at the opening appeared the member of Coordination Council under the President of the RF in implementation of the national children care strategy Nikita Odintsov, deputy chairman of the Department for relationship of Church and Society of the ROC, the priest Roman Bagdasarov.

Among the topics and discussion issues were: How can I keep their right for life? How to help future mothers who find themselves in difficult situations? Is the increase of the large families number the way to escape demographic crisis? Rejection of abortion, the development of voluntarism and charity.

Participants and guests had the opportunity to attend master classes, thematic performances and exhibitions, round table sessions and various stands, to attend the awarding ceremony of winners of the annual competition "For life".
